The Frost Faerie Ball
Beyond the ancient treeline, beneath the hush of falling snow, The Wild Hunt rides across hoarfrosted earth.
Some glimpse pale figures moving between the trees. Some hear music upon the Frostwind. And some are simply never seen again.
In forgotten folklore, the fae were never gentle creatures. Silver-tongued and cruel as ice, they lured travellers from forest paths with music carried upon winter’s breath. They danced mortals to exhaustion beneath moonlight. They offered beauty with one hand and ruin with the other.
On February 6th, the doors will open to The Frost Faerie Ball, and the Fae invite you to step into the Winter Court.
Within the candlelit halls of Battersea Arts Centre’s Great Hall, The Lord of Frost and Lady of Winter await. Around them drift their Ice Ballerinas, dangerous Unseelie fae cloaked in silk and frost, moving soundlessly through the ballroom like winter spirits,…
