Please read through our event policies before you attend an event.

By buying a ticket to our event you agree to our policies. 

A lot of time and effort has been put into planning our unforgettable events. Gauntlets and Gowns Events offers a unique opportunity to take a break from your daily routine and experience something new. Please read all the details on this site carefully to make sure you make the most out of your time at the ball, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or comments. See you soon!

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds or returns for any reason including changes in your circumstances or schedule. So please bare that in mind before buying tickets to our events. We offer resales for certain time periods depending on the event. We do not offer resales for events that are not sold out. We only offer resales to sold out events. 

​

 

Photography & Videography At The Events

Gauntlets and Gowns Events post content and professional pictures and videos of our events containing our guests. If you don’t wish videos and content of yourself to be posted to our socials then please make this known to us before attending the event.

Dress code, props and behaviour policy

​

We ask that guests take into account the theme of the event and dress accordingly while still having the freedom to express their individual style. You can find inspo pics on Instagram @gauntletsandgownsevents and also go to our Pinterest to find inspo boards for each event. You can find the link to this in our social media bios. 

We don’t see clothes as having a specific gender and don’t enforce gender-based dress code. Please dress as you feel comfortably.

In regards to props and also behaviour please see the list of what won’t be allowed or tolerated.

-Metal or wooden swords or daggers whether they are blunt or not or weapons of any kind are not allowed. If you’re unsure on a prop please message us. The only props we allow are those made of foam such as larp weapons and that can’t be functional in hurting another person.

Our commitments

The organisation commits to:

1. Encourage equality, diversity and inclusion in our promotion, at our events and within our workforce.

2. Create an environment free of bullying, harassment, victimisation and unlawful discrimination, promoting dignity and respect for all, and where individual differences and the contributions of all guests and staff are recognised and valued.

This commitment includes training our staff about their rights and responsibilities under the equality, diversity and inclusion policy. Responsibilities include staff conducting themselves to help the organisation provide equal opportunities in employment, and prevent bullying, harassment, victimisation and unlawful discrimination.

3. Take seriously complaints of bullying, harassment, victimisation and discrimination against guests and our staff.
 

 

 

Policies specific to the Halflings Midsummers Eve Party

 

Cancellation policy for The Halflings Midsummers Eve Party, June 29th.

Gauntlets & Gowns Events LTD hold the right to cancel the event even at short notice. We will only ever do so if a situation occurs that is out of our control. Full ticket refunds will be given in this event but we won’t compensate for any other costs such as hotels and travel.

In adverse weather such as light rain or wind the event will go ahead. We will have a large marquee for cover.

 

 

 

 

-Nudity will not be allowed

-Insulting others or bullying will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the site immediately

The safety of our guests is paramount to us and no abuse of any kind will be tolerated. First aiders and security will be at the event to help you if you need advice or support at any time.

Gauntlets & Gowns events hold the right to refuse entry to anyone if we feel our polices are breached. We also hold the right to ask you to leave or to have you removed if these polices are breached.

You will be asked to show your ticket at the door either email or paper. If you don't have this you may be refused entry. You must be 18 or older to attend our events. You will be asked for ID at the door to prove your age.

We ask that all guests respect the venue and if anyone is found causing damage they will be removed and banned from all future events hosted by Gauntlets and Gowns Events.
